Terms of Service

ResLink reads the calendar feeds you connect — the iCal links issued by Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, your channel manager or your property management system — and turns the bookings in them into a simple page of cleaning dates that you can share with your cleaner through a private link.

ResLink is a display and scheduling convenience. It does not take bookings, does not employ or supply cleaners, does not handle payments between you and your cleaner, and is not a party to any arrangement between you and anyone who uses a link you share.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
• The details you give us must be accurate, and you must keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about the service and your billing.
• One account is for one host or one business. Do not resell or share access to the host side of the service without our written agreement.

In plain words: You are the one who decides to share your bookings with your cleaner. Make sure you are allowed to, and only share what is needed.

You confirm that you have the right to connect each calendar feed you add and to have ResLink display the information in it. You control who receives a cleaner link.

A cleaner link shows arrival and departure dates, nights occupied, the property name you choose, and whether a same-day turnover is needed. It does not show guest names, contact details, prices or payouts. Even so, the pattern of dates is information about your guests: treat a cleaner link as confidential, share it only with people who need it, and replace it when someone stops working for you. You can generate a new link at any time, which immediately stops the old one working.

You must not use ResLink to display data about people who have not agreed to it where such agreement is required by the law that applies to you, and you must not use the service for anything unlawful.

Where data protection law requires a written agreement between you as controller and us as processor — as the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation does — our data processing addendum forms part of these terms and applies automatically. It names the other companies that can see your data.

In plain words: If Airbnb changes or delays your feed, your calendar may be wrong or late. Always confirm anything that matters.

ResLink refreshes each connected feed periodically. The platforms that publish those feeds control how often they update, what they include and whether they work at all. Feeds can be delayed by hours, can omit changes, can be withdrawn, and can be changed without notice.

You therefore accept that the cleaning dates shown by ResLink may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and that you must not rely on them as the only source for a decision that costs money or affects a guest. Scheduling and paying your cleaner remains entirely your responsibility.

Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. All prices are in United States dollars (USD) and, unless stated otherwise, exclude any tax that applies where you are.

• Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, each month or each year depending on what you choose, and they renew automatically until canceled.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• We may change prices. If a change affects your existing subscription we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and the new price applies from your next renewal. If you do not want it, cancel before then.
• If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

In plain words: Cancel whenever you like, from inside your account. You keep the service until the period you already paid for runs out.

You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of that period unless the law where you live requires it.

If ResLink fails badly enough that you could not reasonably use it, write to hello@res-link.com within 30 days and we will look at a refund on the facts. We would rather fix that than keep the money.

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. By starting to use a paid plan immediately you ask us to begin the service during that period; you may still withdraw, and we will refund you in proportion to what remains unused.

You can delete your account entirely at any time from the account page. Deletion removes your properties, your feeds and your cleaner links, and it cannot be undone.

A new account starts with a free trial of seven days. We do not ask for card details to begin it, nothing is charged when it ends, and the account simply stops working until you choose a paid plan. One trial per person or business.

A trial, or any plan offered as early access, is provided as-is, and we may change or end it with reasonable notice. Nothing offered free is a promise that it will stay free.

• Do not attempt to access accounts, data or links that are not yours, including by guessing link addresses.
• Do not probe, scan or overload the service, or attempt to get around its limits or security.
• Do not copy, resell or white-label the service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or use the service to harass anyone.
• Automated access is allowed only with our written agreement.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

We aim to keep ResLink available and working, but we do not promise any particular level of availability. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, for problems at our hosting or database providers, or for reasons outside our control.

The service, its software, design and name belong to us. Your data belongs to you: connecting a feed gives us permission to process and display that data only so we can provide the service to you, and that permission ends when you delete the property or your account.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything for them.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. If you live in one, this clause applies to you only as far as that law permits, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

In plain words: If we get something wrong, what you can claim from us is capped at roughly what you paid us in the past year.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither we nor our suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost bookings, lost data, or the cost of a cleaning that did or did not happen.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any non-excludable rights consumers have under the law where they live.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, from data you connected without the right to do so, or from your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach or negligence.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email or in the product at least 30 days before it takes effect, except where a change is required by law or addresses a security problem, in which case it may take effect sooner. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, cancel your subscription.

You may stop using ResLink at any time. We may end this agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you materially break these terms or if we are required to by law. If we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of what you have paid.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Pima County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts and under your own consumer law, that right is not taken away by this clause.

• If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• Not enforcing a term once does not waive it.
• You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it, along with your account and data, to a company we own or set up to run ResLink, or to a company that acquires the business — on these same terms, and without needing to ask you again. We will tell you if it happens.
• We may also perform our obligations through affiliates or suppliers, but we stay responsible to you for the service.
• These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about ResLink.
